ROMANO is a rapper, artistic persona, and true Berlin original all at once. With long metal hair, a tracksuit, and a unique blend of rap, rock, Schlager, and East Berlin everyday humor, he has long since achieved cult status. Live, he is usually backed by a full band or a powerful DJ setup, while ROMANO sweeps across the stage with maximum energy. His concerts are loud, absurd, witty, and at the same time remarkably unifying – somewhere between a mosh pit and a family gathering. Songs about motorcycles, outsiders, village discos, or life between housing estates and the big city become collective anthems live. Both the press and the public celebrate him equally for his mix of self-irony and genuine attitude. Anyone who has experienced a ROMANO concert won't soon forget it.

DATSCHEN CONCERTS

is an open-air concert series that has been taking place at DATSCHE since 2015. Booking is handled by: MUSIKKOMBINAT, the FETTE BEUTE crew, SWING39, and PETRICHOR BOOKING. They invite regional, national, and international bands and solo acts from various genres such as Pop, Indie, HipHop, Electronica, Soul, Latin, Rock, and much more. Shows usually take place on Fridays from around 8 PM.

Notable acts that have performed include Clueso, Parcels, Trettmann, Erobique, Rikas, Guacáyo, JPattersson, Carla Ahad, Karmic, Sophia Kennedy, Sean Koch, Ankathie Koi, Say Yes Dog, Acht eimer Hühnerherzen, Dekker, Pool, Tijuana Cartel, SkaZka Orchestra, Äl Jawala, Paulinko, and many more.
